Since I can’t cover everything, here are some recommended articles from other websites. ° From MacRumors: A joint status report filed yesterday in Apple’s trade secrets lawsuit against YouTuber Jon Prosser and Michael Ramacciotti shows Prosser is still failing to...
Apple will release a new MacBook Air series in the second quarter of the year, according to Taiwanese supply chain publication DigiTimes (a subscription is required to read the entire article). The report says “The first quarter of 2023 is expected to see Apple’s...
Display analyst Ross Young tweets to his “Super Followers” that Apple is likely to release the rumored 15.5-inch MacBook Air in early April. He says panel production has already started. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman predicted the bigger-sized Air and more in a September...
If you want to take pictures and make videos without your iPhone handy, you can do it with the Wristcam for Apple Watch (assuming, of course, you have an Apple Watch). However, this must be something you REALLY want to do as the Wristcam costs US$299 and has some...
The US$49.99 Scosche BoomCan MS is a great idea in concept, but a bust in realization. The idea is a clever one: a small speaker that attaches to a MagSafe-equipped iPhone (iPhone 12 and later). Apple says that MagSafe “improves wireless charging for a better, more...

Want more storage for your iPad? I thought Seagate (http://www.seagate.com) had the answer with its GoFlex Satellite mobile wireless storage. I was wrong, and I generally love Seagate’s products.
The Satellite is a battery-powered, 500GB, US$199.99 external hard drive that wirelessly extends the storage capacity of any Wi-Fi enabled mobile device using 802.11 b/g/n and a rechargeable battery. With it you can stream to almost any Wi-Fi enabled device using a web browser or the free app that’s optimized for the iPad. At least that’s the theory.
Palo Alto Audio Design’s (http://www.paloaltoaudio.com) CUBIK digital audio speaker is a computer speaker system that designed with the audiophile in mind. Though US$199.95 seems a bit pricey for a speaker system with no subwoofer, the sound is as good for a subwoofer-less speaker system as I’ve heard.
One of the advantages Microsoft’s Word has over Apple’s Pages is a good grammar checker. Pages’ Proofreader feature just isn’t as comprehensive.
If you want to add better grammar checking features to Pages, try Grammarian PRO2 X from Linguisoft (http://www.linguisoft.com). It checks grammar and spelling errors interactively (as-you-type) or batch checking (all-at-once).
For folks with a particular TV viewing need (more on that in a bit), Elgato’s (http://www.elgato.com) HDHomeRun, a dual-tuner device that’s compatible with Macs and PCs, hits a home run. With it, you can view a show on one computer, and a second show on a different one. Especially sweet: you can also record shows in 1080i HD resolution.
