Another day, another lawsuit. A company named Cequint has filed a suit against Apple alleging patent infringement, reports “GottaBe Mobile” (http://macte.ch/C6KqW).

Damages are unspecified but Cequint is asking the court to preventApple from selling iPhones in the US. The patents in question involve caller ID technology. Cequint says its technology is on over 30 handsets including Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone devices.

Cequint (http://www.cequint.com) is based in Seattle, Washington. The company describes itself as a “pioneer in landline caller ID.”
