Stephen Beale of HOWdesign.com has posted “A Designer’s Guide to the Creative Suite,” a detailed look at Adobe’s new Creative Suite. “Adobe’s new Creative Suite, as most designers know by now, encompasses major upgrades to Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, plus a workflow management utility called Version Cue and—in the premium edition—Adobe GoLive and Acrobat Professional,” writes Beale. “This, along with Adobe’s ever-increasing emphasis on integrating its graphics applications, creates a challenge for reviewers, because you can look at the package in two ways: as separate applications, each to be evaluated on its own merits, or as a comprehensive toolkit that’s greater than the sum of its parts.”
