February 23-27, 2004 at the Big Nerd Ranch retreat facility outside
PostgreSQL Bootcamp is the most comprehensive class on PostgreSQL

The rigorous 5-day course is structured in 23 sessions – half lecture,
half student exercises – covering Administration, Advanced SQL, Writing

Database. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

– Maintain a secure and reliable PostgreSQL server

– Create custom server-side data types and functions using C or pgsql

vice-president of Database Development at Great Bridge LLC, another
PostgreSQL support company. He has spoken at many international
open-source conferences. Prior to his involvement with PostgreSQL,
Bruce developed custom database applications for some of the world’s
largest law firms. In addition, he holds a Masters in Education.
The Big Nerd Ranch offers intensive training classes for Unix and Mac
OS X programmers in a lodge outside Atlanta, GA. Class price of $3500
