New Share from User is Mac, Windows compatible

Hutchings Software has released Share from User (http://ShareFromUser.com), a screen-sharing tool for remote technical support. It allows an organization’s employees to view screens of their customers as needed to provide remote assistance.

Share from User comes in a free version and an US$200 pro version. There are no monthly fees associated with using Share from User. It is designed to run on low-cost hardware, such as netbooks and decommissioned desktops, and purportedly uses bandwidth most businesses are already paying for.

Atlona adds new features to HDAiR

Atlona Technologies (http://www.atlona.com) has added new features to the HDAiR, their wireless USB to HDMI adapter. They’ve also reduced the price to US$169.

The first release of the HDAiR in 2009 was a video-only solution.  After its release, users from around the world responded to Atlona’s customer survey asking what additional features could make the HDAiR even better. The overall consensus was to add audio support.
