A new report shows that Best Buy sells almost as many iPhones as Apple itself, according to “AllThingsD” (http://macte.ch/NtVcf).

Consumer Intelligence Research Partners surveyed U.S. iPhone purchasers from December 2011 to February 2012. They found that retail stores accounted for 76% of iPhone sales and online stores, 24%.

According to CIRP’s data, Apple sold 15 % of all iPhones purchased in the U.S. during the period of the survey (retail: 11% via retail and 4% online. Best Buy sold 13%. Meanwhile, AT&T sold 32% of iPhones; Verizon, 30%; and Sprint, 7%.
