Speck (http://www.speckproducts.com) has introduced the US$34.95 SmartShell, a lightweight hard-shell iPad 2 case designed to work in tandem with Apple’s Smart Cover to provide a streamlined solution for total iPad 2 protection.
It’s an ultra-thin case for the second gen Apple tablet that covers the back of the iPad 2, and aligns to the Smart Cover’s spine while maintaining its magnetic fit in the open and the closed position. It coordinates equally well with the polyurethane and leather versions of Smart Cover and is available in Clear SeeThru and Black Satin, with more colors to come, according to the folks at Speck.
