Kubota Image Tools (http://www.kubotaimagetools.com/store) has released its Dashboard 3 Pro software, as well as the Kubota Texture Tools and the re-released Kubota Sloppy Borders (now Dashboard 3-compatible).

Dashboard 3 Pro (US$79) is a floating palette within Photoshop that acts like a mini search engine for Photoshop actions, enabling photographers to manage and run their entire actions collection. The latest version includes the ability to keyword search for actions, update action descriptions and mark favorites for future use.

ClueTrust has announced Cartographica 1.2 (http://www.macgis.com), an update to their Geographical Information System (GIS) software for Mac OS X. The new version adds Bing services. It also builds on Cartographica’s exploratory interface and adds:

° Flexible labeling that can show multiple fields in multiple styles on one or more lines;

° Improved Illustrator export, using layers to provide all the geospatial and textual data, plus legends that can be styled for direct inclusion into documents;

Hyberbolic Software (http://www.hyperbolicsoftware.com) has released Tidy Up! 2.2.3, the latest version of their disk, file and folder processing utility for Mac OS X.

Tidy Up! can find duplicate files and packages using any criteria. Version 2.2.3 addsthe possibility to search for empty song tags within all supported tag information.

Tidy Up 2.2.3 requires Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) or higher. Upgrades from version 1.x are $20, and upgrades from version 2.x are free.
