Target to carry iPads starting in October

Target will begin carrying four models of the iPad next month, starting at $499.

The nation’s second-largest discount chain says it will start selling touchscreen tablet computer starting Oct. 3, according to “Forbes” (http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2010/09/24/business-technology-hardware-amp-equipment-us-target-meeting_7957666.html?partner=alerts). The announcement was made at a Target media conference in Minneapolis, where the company is based.

KavaSoft has released HyperImage 3.5 (http://www.kavasoft.com/HyperImage/), an update of the US$25 Mac OS X app that lets you download images from web sites. It’s now a full featured Tumblr client.

Tumblr is a community for blogging and reblogging photos. HyperImage helps you do everything you can do on the Tumblr web site. Just enter the address of a Tumblr blog, and HyperImage will download all of the photos

DiGi launches iPhone 4 in Malaysia

Malaysian communications provider DiGi Telecommunications has launched a new range of tariff plans in the monarchy to accompany the availability in the country of Apple’s iPhone 4, it said, reports “MIS Asia” (http://mis-asia.com/news/articles/digi-launches-iphone-4-in-malaysia-with-new-tariff-plans?).
