Monkeybread Software has released version 10.0 of the MBS plug-in for
REALbasic. The MBS plug-in comprises a collection of several plug-in
parts that extend the REALbasic development environment with 1,300
classes featuring over 26,000 documented functions.
This release contains a few new classes like the WindowsScriptMBS,
UniversalCharacterDetectionMBS and JSONMBS classes, as well as a few
new methods like SpotLightTextContentMBS to get the text content of a
file. In preparation of the Cocoa target in REALbasic 2010, the folks
at Monkeybread already have classes for all Cocoa controls.
The plug-ins require REALbasic 2006r4 or newer. While all plug-in
parts compile on Mac OS X, Linux and Windows systems, each function
may depend on additional system requirements to work successfully.
Plug-in licenses are available for components or for the complete
collection with pricing starting at US$29 for one component. The
complete package costs $284.20 for commercial usage. If you buy a
current license, you will get free updates for one year. After that
year, you can update your license to cover an additional year.
