Sonoma Wire Works acquires DrumCore, KitCore, Famous Drummer

Sonoma Wire Works (http://www.sonomawireworks.com), makers of
RiffWorks recording software and the FourTrack and InstantDrummer
iPhone Apps, has acquired the entire Submersible Music product line,
including the DrumCore and KitCore software and drum content.

Submersible was created by Paul Allen, the philanthropist and
Microsoft co-founder, to help him in his own songwriting. DrumCore
(http://www.drumcore.com) gives songwriters and composers access to
grooves and instrument sounds of over a dozen famous drummers and

Faronics Insight now available for Mac OS X

Faronics has released Insight 7.4, an update of the tool that
empowers instructors to educate, monitor, and communicate with an
entire class from one central computer. The latest version of Insight
allows teachers to run the console within the Mac OS X operating
system.

Insight 7.4 also features expanded internet controls for Internet
Explorer 8 and Mozilla Firefox. The software allows instructors to:
