Thursby announces ADmitMac 5.0 and DAVE 8.0

Thursby Software Systems announced today that it has released
upgrades of their leading Apple Macintosh networking products,
ADmitMac and DAVE. The products are engineered for multi-processor,
multi-threaded operations under Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) in both
64-bit and 32-bit mode. The new versions will continue to support Mac
OS X 10.5 (Leopard).

Both DAVE and ADmitMac allow Macintosh systems to bi-directionally
share files and printers with Windows networks.

UPS releases Mac, iPhone apps

UPS has announced a new app for the iPhone and iPod touch that not
only ships and tracks packages but also uses built-in GPS features to
find the nearest UPS location. It’s a free download at the Apple App
Store.

The UPS Mobile App for the iPhone enables users to track shipments,
create shipments using the My UPS address book, calculate shipping
rates and time-in-transit and then find the nearest UPS location. The
app joins other UPS-enabled solutions for Apple users.

Fixed Noise! releases new sound library

Xupport update adds Snow Leopard support

Laurent Muller has updated Xupport
(http://www.applicorn.com/download.php), a multipurpose system
utility for Mac OS X, to version 3.4. It supports Mac OS X 10.6
(“Snow Leopard”) and provides improved application stability and
performance, and other minor improvements and resolved issues.

Xupport costs US$19.90 for a single user license, while upgrades to
version 3.x from previous versions are $9.90. Volume discounts and
site licenses are available. Xupport 3.6 is a free update to
registered users of version 3.x.
