Imagine Products has released a new version (6.0) of HD Log for Mac
OS X, featuring support for the new Panasonic AVC-Intra Codec, and
addition of deluxe media card offloading functions. The new automated
secure offloading works any video media including Panasonic P2 and
AVCHD cards, Sony SxS, RED ONE and other digital media cards in a
single application.

HDLog works with P2 formats ranging from DVCPRO HD to DV and now also
supports the new 10-bit AVC-Intra codec.

LaCie (http://www.lacie.com) has announced three peripheral
accessories: the LaCie CurrenKey, FlatCables, and PCI Cards.They’re
designed for connectivity and portable storage.

CurrenKey fits in your pocket or coin purse. CurrenKeys are USB 2.0
drives that resemble contemporary coinage. Prices start at US$24.95.

LaCie Flat Cables bring functional improvements along with a new look
to the ubiquitous computer cable. They’re available for three types
of USB interfaces as well as two types of FireWire (400 and 800) and
eSATA connectors.

Open-Xchange, a provider of open source groupware, has announced a
preview of its iSync connector called OXtender for Mac OS X. This
makes Open-Xchange e-mails, appointments, contacts, tasks and
documents available to end users through their native Mac
applications — Mail, iCal and Address Book.
End users can access and edit all groupware data without changing
their familiar desktop environment. Also, OXtender for Mac OS X
enables synchronization on mobile devices. Even without a connection
to the Internet, users can continue to work without interruption.

RagTime.de, which makes business publishing solution, has released a
preview version of its RagTime 6.5 for Mac and Windows. As a
Universal Binary, the new software will be up to six times faster on
Intel-based Macs, the company says.

It also has more than 150 new functions that can be used within
spreadsheets and text paragraphs on both operating systems.

Enfocus has released PitStop Extreme, a new addition to the PitStop
product family and introduced for the first time at Graph Expo and
Ifra Expo. As of Dec. 1, the fully functional version of a
standalone, high-efficiency PDF editor, is available for users.

PitStop Extreme is designed from the ground up to allow checking and
correcting of even the most complex PDF files.
