PdfCompress 5.0 squeezes images 20% harder

London and Berlin – February 1st, 2006 — metaobject announces the
immediate availability of version 5.0 of the popular PDF compression tool
for Mac OS X.

Version 5.0 features the usual round of minor bug fixes as well as a new
compression method based on JPEG 2000 that squeezes an additional 20% out
of photographic images.

PdfCompress still costs just US $27 per copy to license, and version 5.0
is, as usual, a free upgrade for existing users of previous versions.

PdfCompress is a fully native Cocoa application, not just a Cocoa wrapper
around legacy libraries.
