RealNetworks has said that in the fall it will offer substantial discounts to some university students, with deals already cut with California at Berkely and the University of Minnesota, reports Associated Press. The pricing will be between US$2 to $3 (regularly $9.95 per month) for the standard Rhapsody service. In a separate announcement, the company said that customers downloaded more than one million songs in the first seven days of its special song download promotion [see related story].
