ViewSonic rolls out 42-inch plasma display

ViewSonic today introduced the 42-inch VPW450HD, the latest addition to its ultra-slim, HDTV-ready plasma product line. The display offers a native resolution of 1024×1024, supports all data sources and video signals including HDTV, Enhanced Definition Television (EDTV), and standard television. It has a contrast ratio of up to 1000:1, brightness level of up to 1000 cd/m2, and viewing angles of up to 160 degrees.

Fox News reports that the Beatles may soon take legal action against Apple over the iTunes Music Store. “The Beatles own a holding company called Apple Corps, Ltd., which controls Apple Records… Apple Computer’s Steve Jobs was such a Beatle fan that he named his company after the record label.
