EZQuest ships Cobra FireWire 800 drive

EZQuest today announced that its first FireWire 800 product — the Cobra FireWire 800/USB 2.0 external hard drive — is available now. The drive is housed in a light-gray, streamlined case that is fully shielded with 0.6mm metal. Compatible with Mac OS 8.6 or later and Mac OS X, it ships with Intech Hard Disk Speed Tools, RAID level-0 striping software for Macs. The Cobra FireWire 800/USB 2.0 drive is available in 120GB (US$299), 200GB ($459) and 250GB ($589) capacities.

Agfa ‘Image Club’ fonts available from Fonts.com

Agfa Monotype today annoucnced that it has acquired the “Image Club” font library from Getty Images and now offers the fonts exclusively from Fonts.com. “The Image Club library contains an assortment of display fonts such as Rubino, a family that resembles technical drawings of letterforms. Styles of Rubino include Regular, Fill, Solid, Guides and Outline. Each font is available in serif and sans serif variations.

Bluetooth 1.2.1 adds support for Symbian OS phones

Apple today released Bluetooth Software 1.2.1, which provides enhanced stability and support for the following Symbian OS based mobile phones: Nokia 3650, Nokia 7650, and Sony Ericsson P800. Bluetooth 1.2.1, available via the Software Update preference pane, is recommended for use with iSync 1.1, which was also released today.
