WeatherManX Extras 3.3 released

AfterTen Software today released WeatherManX Extras 3.3, an update to its suite of Mac OS X programs for displaying detailed weather information in the menu bar and as a screen saver. This free upgrade for registered users adds a National Weather Service short range radar image in the menu, adds full solar and lunar data including Solar noon, length of day, Civil, Astronomical, and Nautical twilight times and major Moon phase dates, and more. Agfa Monotype debuts 40 exclusive Monotype Fonts

Agfa Monotype has announced the release of 40 new and exclusive font products on Fonts.com. Felbridge, Braff, Zemestro, Linex Sans, Mundo Sans, Sweeney, Twentieth Century Poster, Goudy Ornate and Othello are the nine typeface families that comprise the new fonts. The new fonts are available for both Windows and Macintosh platforms, and complete character sets and sample images can be viewed on Fonts.com.

FontAgent Pro update boosts performance

Insider Software has released FontAgent Pro 1.3, an update to the company’s font management and repair utility for Mac OS X. The latest release, which is free to registered owners of earlier versions, enhances performance by a factor of ten during database saving operations, according to the developer. It also adds improved driver support to facilitate printing in Classic mode. FontAgent Pro sells for US$99.95.
