After Effects 6.0 adds new text engine, OpenGL support

Adobe announced today After Effects 6.0, a major upgrade to its motion graphics and visual effects software. The new version integrates a “revolutionary” new text engine for creating typographic animations. It also adds OpenGL support, as well as integrated vector paint, a new motion tracker, keying tools and scripting support. After Effects 6.0 comes in two editions — Professional and Standard.
