NEC-Mitsubishi today announced that it has extended its professional-level MultiSync LCD 80 Series with a new 20-inch and 21-inch monitor. The NEC MultiSync LCD2080UX+ (US$1,499.99) and NEC MultiSync LCD2180UX ($1,549.99) displays integrate “innovative capabilities and minimalist design to deliver an intelligent visual display solution at a competitive price point.” They offer a native resolution of 1600×1200 @ 60 Hz, high brightness of 250 cd/m2, and contrast ratio of 400:1 on the LCD2080UX+ and 500:1 on the LCD2180UX. Both monitors will be available starting next month.
