Unsanity has released Silk 2.0, an update to its “haxie” that enables the Quartz text rendering and smoothing introduced in Mac OS X 10.1.5 to work in all Carbon applications, including Netscape, Mozilla, and others. Version 2.0 brings font substitution, theme font replacement, and minimum font size settings. In addition, Silk has been moved to the Application Enhancer backend and is now priced at US$10.
