Several readers point out that Apple today lowered prices on its 12 and 15-inch PowerBooks by up to US$300. The Aluminum 12-inch PowerBook now starts at $1,599 ($200 drop), while the Titanium 15-inch PowerBook now starts at $1,999 ($300 drop). The price of Apple’s 17-inch PowerBook remains unchanged at $3,299.
