Mercenary Studios has announced Rune: Halls of Valhalla for Mac OS 8/9, the multiplayer expansion pack for the third-person action/adventure game Rune, according to Accelerate Your Mac!. The game can be played as either a standalone multiplayer game or as an add-on to the original. Rune: Halls of Valhalla adds two new multiplayer game modes, Headball and Arena, as well as dozens of new multiplayer creatures. Pre-orders are now being taken for US$24.95; the game is expected to ship on April 22, 2002.
