A new version of the successful application CDFinder is now shipping.
CDFinder is a very fast and powerful tool to create catalog files of your
hard disks, floppies, ZIP’s and anything else that spins. It has a great
user interface and very useful search functions. CDFinder supports
drag&drop and requires at least a 68020 or PowerPC CPU. While System 7 is
required, CDFinder is also fully compatible to MacOS 8. A special feature
is the bilingual user interface (German/English).
This mix of features makes CDFinder very useful especially for developers
with their usually large mount of important developer CDROM’s.
New features in CDFinder 1.5:
– Catalog objects can be deleted.
– Catalog data can be exported into a text file.
– New search results can be added to previous results.
– A lot of other useful new features and improvements.
– Quite some bugs – especially regarding StuffIt archives – were fixed.
CDFinder is shareware ($15 for a single user license) and payment can now
finally be processed by Kagi. That means that I can now accept credit
cards, checks and that stuff. Please read the “Read me” file for more
For more information about CDFinder, please visit the CDFinder-Homepage at
(http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Park/8423/index.html) and download
CDFinder. This site also features a complete Mac Cataloger Compendium with
all known programs of the kind and much more.
