Jumsoft (http://www.jumsoft.com) has upgraded Money, its finance and budgeting application for Mac OS X, to version 4. It requires Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and is available for US$18.99 until July 31.

Money provides small businesses and home users with a tool to track their finances. Among other features, version 4 features a redesigned interface, allows direct downloads from banks, and institutes smart importing rules and a document-based system that allows multiple users to work with a single copy of the application.

Jumsoft General Manager lgirdas Unguvaitis says Money 4 provides a flexible way of recording financial transactions in multiple types of accounts: cash, bank, credit card, loan, investment, and asset. With Money 4, users can create a budget plan and monitor the actual outcome. The Portfolio feature displays a view of investments.

Money 4 is available from the Jumsoft website and the Mac App Store in the Finance category. A free trial version is available from the Jumsoft site.
