Maya 4.5 shipping for Mac OS X September 23

Alias/Wavefront today announced that Maya 4.5, the company’s professional 3D rendering software, is shipping now for Windows, IRIX and Linux. Maya Complete 4.5 for Mac OS X will ship on September 23, 2002. Version 4.5 offers a number of new features, including Maya Fluid Effects, which allows users to create atmospheric effects, pyrotechnics, space effects and a new Ocean Shader tool.
