Alias|Wavefront today announced eight new learning tools for Maya, its popular 3D design software. The new learning tools consist of two books and six DVDs that address all levels of users, from beginners to advanced. The books are Learning Maya – Dynamics and Learning Maya – Rendering, both priced at US$79.99. The DVDs range in price from $29.95-$129.99, and topics include rigid body simulations for visual effects, and Polygon texturing, lighting and shading, among others. All of the books and DVDs are available now.
