Alias Systems today announced that Maya Personal Learning Edition 5, the new version of its non-commercial 3D software package, is now available as a free download. Originally announced in July, Maya Personal Learning Edition 5 offers nearly every feature found in the full commercial version of Maya Complete 5, including an industry-leading set of modeling, animation, rendering and effects tools.
