“Valleywag” (http://gawker.com/5525569/conference-comeback-for-steve-jobs) says Apple CEO Steve Jobs may appear at the “Wall Street Journal’s” D Conference (http://allthingsd.com/d/) in June for the first time in three years. “May” is the key word.

Speakers confirmed for the event — with tickets are priced at US$4,500 — tickets cost $4,500 — include Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, movie director James Cameron and AOL co-founder Steve Case. The event will be held in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, June 1-3.

South Korea lifts iPad ban (sorta)

South Korea has lifted its ban on the iPad, according to the “Wall Street Journal” (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703465204575208881106530858.html?mod=WSJ_hps_LEFTWhatsNews). The country’s communications regulator said on Tuesday it wouldn’t stop people from importing Apple’s device for personal use, ending a ban that early adopters in South Korea says was unfair, the article adds.
