CrossOver Games 9.0 for the Mac supports Steam UI

CodeWeavers (http://www.CodeWeavers.com) has completed the development of CrossOver Games 9.0 for both Mac and Linux. The new version supports the new Steam user interface.

CrossOver Games allows Windows games to be used on Mac and Linux PCs without the need for a Windows operating system license. In addition to Steam support, version 9.0 supports StarCraft 2 (now in beta) and StarTrek Online and enables users to install games from a single screen and a single click on CodeWeavers’ compatibility center.

China Mobile wants to sell the iPad

China Mobile, China’s dominant mobile carrier, is interested in selling the iPad in China, the company’s chairman said — as reported by “Reuters” (http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE64B0PS20100512?feedType=RSS&feedName=technologyNews&rpc=22&sp=true)

The company was also talking to Apple about developing a next-generation iPhone that runs on TD-SCDMA, the home-grown third-generation (3G) mobile standard being used by China Mobile, Chairman Wang Jianzhou said at the company’s annual shareholder meeting on Wednesday.
