Mujjo does one thing very well. They make iPhone cases out of leather. Those cases offer protection for both the back and front of the iPhone through raised bezels that keep the camera lenses and screen safe during a fall onto a flat surface.
The Leather Case is equipped with Mujjo’s Moulded Edge Technology, a polycarbonate solution that toughens the edges of the case and helps it to withstand the wear and tear caused by friction against jeans pockets.
Whether you can comfortable place an iPhone in your pockets is another matter. It fits okay in the lower pockets of my cargo pants, but is simply too big to fit comfortable in my blue jeans pockets.
Still, unlike many iPhone cases, the Leather Wallet Case doesn’t detract from the design of your iPhone Just the opposite: they add to the good looks of Apple’s smartphones.
With a Mujjo Full Leather Case, the iPhone is encased in top-quality leather without adding bulk. The inside has a microfiber lining to swaddle your phone, and even the buttons are covered in leather.
The case looks great and feels “right” in your hand. And, as you’d expect, the openings of the Mujjo Leather Case expose the volume rockers and Lightning connector.
The Mujjo Full Leather Case comes in three “flavors”: tan (which is my favorite), black, and Monaco Blue. If it’s like other Mujjo cases I’ve used, it will acquire a striking patina over time as constant use helps break it in.
The Full Leather Case packs a pouch on the back that can hold 2-3 credit, bank, ID, or travel cards. It’s, hands-down, the best wallet case I’ve tried. I simply have to decide if I can go minimalistic and ditch my wallet. I have more than three cards in my current wallet and a few bills, so I’m no sure I can go with a wallet case. But if I do it will be the one from Mujjo. Also, it’s not MagSafe compatible. Then, again, I’ve yet to find a wallet case that is.
