Writes for All has introduced Desktop Ghost 1.0 (http://tinyurl.com/qdclfpz) for Mac OS X, a utility that lets you hide and show all the files on your desktop with a single click.
It’s designed especially for for OS X users who take screencasts and/or screenshots, but who don’t want to move all the files on their desktop to another location on their computer. You can choose to run the application as a status bar-only app or as a regular app with a icon in the dock.
Desktop Ghost requires OS X 10.9 or later. It costs US$0.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Utility and Productivity categories.
