Apple, Samsung CEOs agree to mediation in U.S. patent fight: Apple and Samsung have have agreed to attend a mediation session to be held on or before Feb. 19 in their ongoing battle over smartphone patents, reports “Reuters” (http://tinyurl.com/k559kh8).

The article says that Apple CEO Time Cook and Samsung CEO CEO Oh-Hyun Kwon will attend the session with in-house lawyers only, according to a Wednesday court filing. Their legal teams had met on Jan. 6 to “discuss settlement opportunities,” the filing read.

This is all part of the ongoing, global legal battle. Apple and Samsung have filed more than 30 lawsuits against each other across four continents. For example, Apple alleges that Samsung copied the slide-to-unlock technology of its iPhone and iPad devices.
