Summer vacation is over for many Mac User Groups, and “The MUG Event” Calendar starts to show it this week.

Aaron Davis of Apple will show off Mountain Lion to a Washington D.C. group, and Gordon Bell of Prosoft Engineering will visit two Illinois groups. Cloud computing will be discussed in New Zealand, Siri in Australia, and Mountain Lion in three different California groups. Security is the topic in Texas, iOS control will be covered in Kansas, and workflows will take the top slot in Colorado.

“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, imProving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical Problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
