FileMaker, Inc. (http://www.filemaker.com) has announced an upgraded FileMaker Technical Network, now free for all FileMaker Developers.

Designed for anyone who creates FileMaker Pro database solutions, the FileMaker Technical Network combines a community of active developers with a variety of resources. The company also announced that those signing up for FileMaker Technical Network through March 15 may purchase a one-time only software download of the FileMaker Training Series (FTS) for US$9.99. FTS is FileMaker’s official training curriculum for FileMaker Pro 11 and is normally priced at $99.

Geared to help members hone their FileMaker solutions and skills, membership in the FileMaker Technical Network includes the following: access to a library of scripts, calculations, and functions; how-to articles; members only webinars; iOS development resources for FileMaker Go for the iPhone and iPad; technical white papers; and access to an online developer forum for sharing FileMaker tips, ideas and expertise. The completely re-designed members-only area is designed to makeit easy to search for just the content you need and is available in English, French, Japanese, and German.

FileMaker also offers an optional FileMaker Developer Subscription (http://www.filemaker.com/technet/), exclusively available to FileMaker TechNet members for a $99 annual fee. This subscription provides: a FileMaker Server Advanced development license for building and testing multi-user solutions (limited to three FileMaker Pro connections and 3 web connections); a free software download of the FileMaker Training Series that includes updates (to help you master the essentials of FileMaker development) and early access to pre-release software to get a head start on planning and developing customer and in-house database solutions.
