Enventra (http://www.enventra.com/) has announced MoboMath 2.0, a handwritten equation editor for Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later.

Designed and developed expressly for the Mac environment, users create math expressions for their favorite applications in their own handwriting using a graphics tablet, trackpad, or mouse. MoboMath then translates their handwritten input into formatted equations that can be copied to a user’s target application for calculation, graphing, and more.

The software directly supports Microsoft Word, Mathematica, Maple, MathMagic, MathType, and products like iWork that use MathType as an equation editor. With MoboMath’s MathML, TeX, and image support, users can also create expressions for a broad range of other standards-based applications.
