Apple has released MacBook Air EFI Firmware Update 2.1 for the Thunderbolt-enabled MacBook Air. The update addresses Thunderbolt Display compatibility issues and performance issues for Thunderbolt Target Disk Mode.
You can obtain the upgrade via the Software Updates component of the Mac OS X Systems Preferences app. The firmware update requires Mac OS X 10.7 (“Lion”).
