SilverCocoa has served up Wines 1.0 (http://www.silvercocoa.com/wines), offered exclusively on the Mac App Store. Wine lovers, collectors or enthusiasts can add to their collection, take notes, rate it and more.
Wines lets you track a collection, cellar, or simply which wines you tasted recently and enjoyed. By rating, commenting and classifying your wines by country, region, varietal, price, and much more, you can find which wine you are looking for quickly.
Adding new wines is facilitated with the help of the Snooth database. Just enter the name of the wine you are looking for and 90% of the time, it will be found in the database and information will be filled in for you. With the Smart Image Finder you will find bottle or label images for most wines. If you can’t find one, use the integrated webcam feature to snap a picture of a bottle and use it in the application.
Wines requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 or higher. For a limited time, it’s offered at the discount price of $9.99. Wines can be found in the Lifestyle category of the Mac App Store.
