Booq (http://www.booqbags.com) has released the newest addition to their Taipan line: the US$29.95 Taipan spacesuit XS for the iPad. It sports a 3mm neoprene skin to protect the Apple tablet.

The Taipan spacesuit XS features a non-scratch interior lining that surrounds the entire iPad to keep it scratch free. Booq’s new skin also comes equipped with a cushioned jersey trim that provides a barrier between the screen and zippers.

The Taipan spacesuit XS is covered by booq’s five-year limited warranty. It’s available in berry, silver, and black.

I am off to Orlando to marry off my last single sister-in-law and noticed that airline security didn’t blink about the iPad going through security. Matter of fact, they said the laptop needs to be in its own tray, but the iPad is OK with other items.

On the plane when they said electronic items need to be turned off, they specifically included laptops, cell phones and iPads. Note that they didn’t say slate computers or netbooks, but rather iPads, specifically.

Networking Technology (NTI), which specializes in electronic healthcare technology, has rolled out their ePrescribing solution for the iPhone. This free app will allow U.S. licensed prescribers to wirelessly generate prescriptions using high-speed thin client technology.
