Hog Bay Software has released PlainText, a free Dropbox text editor of the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. It allows you to create and organize your documents in folders and (optionally) sync everything with Dropbox.com.

PluralEyes 1.2 for Final Cut Pro available

Singular Software, developer of automation applications for post-production, has released version 1.2 (http://www.singularsoftware.com/downloads.html) of its flagship product PluralEyes for Final Cut Pro.

The new version will include improved workflow for dual-system audio, clock drift correction, increased synchronization control, broader coverage of media types and customer-requested enhancements. It does not overwrite the previously installed PluralEyes 1.1, and can run alongside that version. Just remember that beta software is unfinished software, so use with care.
