post-production, has announced that its flagship product PluralEyes
1.1 for Final Cut Pro has expanded its support for non-linear editing
applications to include Sony Vegas Pro.

Designed for time-conscious video professionals, PluralEyes offers
workflow automation tools for analyzing media content and
synchronizing audio and video clips, including DSLR (digital single
lens reflex) camera images.

iPresentee releases new Keynote Motion Themes HD

iPresentee (http://www.ipresentee.com), a developer of add-ons for
Apple’s iWork and iLife applications, has released Keynote Motion
Themes HD 9.0, a package of five new themes to be used with Keynote.
Keynote is Apple’s presentation component of the US$79 iWork suite.

Synology introduces backup to the cloud, an iPhone app, more

Synology America Corp. has released DiskStation Manager 2.3 beta,
which introduces new features for business and home users including
backup to the cloud with Amazon S3,Volume Manager, a live view of
Surveillance Station with DS cam iPhone app and more.

Additional new features include the Synology Hybrid RAID (SHR) that
simplifies the RAID setup by optimizing the disk capacities with data
protection when different sized hard drives are used, says Doug Self,
product specialist at Synology America Corp.

Apple announces all time highest revenue, profit

Apple has announced financial results for its fiscal 2010 first
quarter that ended Dec. 26, 2009.

The company posted revenue of US$15.68 billion and a net quarterly
profit of $3.38 billion, or $3.67 per diluted share. These results
compare to revenue of $11.88 billion and net quarterly profit of
$2.26 billion, or $2.50 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter.
Gross margin was 40.9 percent, up from 37.9 percent in the year-ago
quarter.
