Other World Computing (http://www.macsales.com) has announced the OWC
Mercury Extreme Enterprise SSD (http://macsales.com/ssd), a 2.5-inch,
SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) for Macs and PCs in single or multiple
drive use including all RAID configurations.
It’s available for immediate ordering in capacities up to 200GB with
prices starting at US$229.99 for a 50GB version. A 100GB model is
$399.99, and a 200GB version costs $779.99
The new OWC Mercury Extreme Enterprise SSD works with any Mac and PC
computer that can utilize a 2.5-inch, SATA 1.5/3.0Gb/s drive. OWC is
planning same day shipping of Extreme SSD orders to begin on/around
Friday, Jan. 19.
