Maxum (http://www.maxum.com) has updated Rumpus, the Internet file transfer tool for Mac OS X (10.4 and higher), to version 6.2.8. It adds FTP control/data coordination checks to avoid problems dealing with mis-behaved FTP clients.
In addition, new appearance options make integrating file transfers into an existing web site easier than ever, and Growl notifications give server administrators new ways to monitor transfer activity.
Rumpus 6.2.8 is a free upgrade for anyone who has purchased a license since Jan. 1, 2008, and costs US$99 ($149 for Pro) to upgrade from any previous version. For new users the cost starts at US$269 for a one-server license.
