These days, Atkinson is is a nature photographer, looking for a way to create affordable “art for the rest of us”. As part of that objective, he has created Bill Atkinson PhotoCard, an iPhone app that lets you access some of his work and send it to friends as either an email or physical postcard.

Aktinson talks about his app and service, how you can use his photos or your own, and the challenges he faced to create a quality product. He’s also had his hands on an iPad, and provides us with some thoughts, as well as taking about how his app will take advantage of the larger screen.
