support for Lexmark MFPs to its AutoStore product
family. According to Mike Morper, NSi’s vice
president of marketing, AutoStore, a server-based
application which orchestrates the capture and
secure delivery of paper and electronic documents
into business applications, delivers the
following functionality to 24 models of Lexmark
MFPs:
° Scans to workflow, email or business
applications — including over a dozen leading
content management systems;
° Scans once and delivers to multiple destinations;
° Personalizes scanning, workflow and output
options based on user authentication;
° Audits scanning operations for security,
regulatory compliance and efficiency;
° Automates document indexing by recognizing bar
codes, handwriting or machine-printed characters;
° Recognizes full text and convert documents into
PDF, Microsoft Office file formats and more.
AutoStore 5.0 supports 10 devices compatible with
Lexmark’s Embedded Software Platform (eSP)
Version 1.2 and 14 more devices which rely on eSP
