iCamera released for the iPhone

iCamera has been released for the iPhone. It lets you turn photos
taken with the device’s built-in camera into entertaining artwork.
It’s available for US$1.99 at the Apple App Store

iCamera lets you add photo frame effects and edit all your existing
iPhone photos in galleries. You select the photo frame you prefer,
and then take iPhone photos with the frame effect as usual.

Abvent releases new Artlantis Media CDs

The Abvent Group, editor and publisher of Artlantis software
(http://www.artlantis.com), has released three new Media CDs designed
to enhance the Artlantis Media collection.

The Animated People Business 1 and Animated People Casual 3 CDs,
created from the aXYZ Design Collection, can be used for both
animations and still images. Users can set the built-in behaviors of
these objects with the same ease they place them into an Artlantis
scene — via drag and drop. Each CD includes ten 3D human models in
business or casual clothing, with five pre-calculated behaviors each.

Nova media unveils 3G development kit for Mac OS X

Nova media has unveiled a hardware development kit for 3G devices
based on a 3G embedded wireless module. The GTM382 development kit
consists of an embedded 3G module, as well as a mainboard with USB
support and the necessary Mac OS X drivers to address the advanced
3G, GPS and Voice functions of the embedded module.

The GTM382 module offers fast HSPA speeds with up to 7.2 Mbit/second
download and 2 Mbit/second upload speeds and supports reliable EDGE
and GPRS connections, according to Jan Fuellemann of nova media.
