New browser from Newmium promisers full HTML 4.xy compatibility

Do we need another new browser? Apparently the folks at Newmium
(http://www.newmium.com/) think so. The company says it will soon
roll out a browser with complete HTML 4.xy compatibility, as defined
by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2010, the Newmium
iXBrowser(iXB) is an universal browser that interfaces with Mac OS X,
Linus, FreeBSD, WinCE and Windows 32/64-bit operating systems.

Virtual Programming releases Pipe Mania for the Mac, iPhone

Virtual Programming (http://www.vpltd.com) has released versions of
its Pipe Mania game for the Mac and the iPhone/iPod touch. The Mac
version (which requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher) costs US$19.95,
and the iPhone/iPod version is $4.99.

Pipemania is a puzzle game in which players lay down a pre-ordained
set of pipes on a tiled grid in order to keep the Flooze, a constant
flowing substance that speeds up with progression, moving through the
pipes as long as possible, without overflowing.

Elastic Window update adds support for TextField, TextArea

Pariahware has updated Elastic Window
(http://www.pariahware.com/elasticwindow.php”), a set of classes for
REALbasic developers that allows controls on a window to be resized
proportionally with the window, to version 1.5. The upgrade adds
support for TextField and TextArea controls.

Using Elastic Window, developers can design windows with a particular
look in mind and ensure it will maintain a uniform look no matter
what size the user makes the window, says Christian Miller, president
of Pariahware. The software uses a royalty-free, per-seat, licensing
mechanism.
