EZ Dupe (http://www.ezdupe.com) has introduced new Disk Lok
duplication systems. They’re designed to prevent unauthorized copying
of DVD video material. The new systems embed copy-protection onto
target discs during the duplication process.

This proprietary technology provides layers of protection to
videographers, law enforcement, defense contractors, government and
others wishing to conserve the availability of the original material,
according to EZ Dupe Vice President Howard Kopelson.

Danielson Legal LLC, a boston-based intellectual property and
technology law firm, has announced the publication of a “Legal Guide
for iPhone Developers,” which is available as a free download

SmileOnMyMac (http://www.smileonmymac.com) has updated TextExpander,
a Mac OS X utility that lets users define abbreviations for
frequently-used text strings and images, to version 2.6.3. The
upgrade can sort snippets by user-assigned label.

The new release also fixes dead key handling and can now use certain
characters with accent marks or Polyphonic Greek characters as
abbreviations, for example.

BOH (http://www.bohthegame.com/) has released a self-titled game
that’s Mac OS X compatible. It’s available on a CD-ROM in a DVD box
along with a 24-page, full-color, English manual for approximately
US$18. A downloadable version is available for approximately $15.
