Sanyo (http://www.sanyo.com) has released the PLV-Z60, a 1200 lumens
home theater projector with 1000:1 contrast ratio and two HDMI inputs.

The projector has 12-bit digital processing that provides a video
decoder, scaler and gamma curve generator for greater picture
performance, according to Mark Holt, vice president and general
manager for Sanyo’s Presentation Technologies Division. The PLV-Z60
also has a lens shifting system and near-silent fan.

Jon Brown Designs and Chad Jones have announced BeFit for Mac OS X
(http://www.jonbrown.org/bf.php), an app that combines the USDA
health and food database on Nutrition Facts, and the ability to track
calories and more in one interface. With it you can make as many
lists or food groups as you like.

BeFit has Spotlight search built in. It has over 7,000 food items
from the USDA Database. and streamlined nutrition tracking.

BeFit requires Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5.

Marketcircle (http://www.marketcircle.com) has released Daylite 3.7.6
is now available and is a free upgrade for all Daylite 3
users. A sync failure no longer forces a restart of Daylite. Daylite
now remains online or offline and allows you to continue working.

Some extra checks have been implemented to report the proper cause of
a sync failure. In Daylite 3.7.6, the contact detail will now show
the contact’s default organization in all views.

XChange International (http://www.xchangeuk.com ) has announced the
release of the Sonar Bookends range of XTensions for QuarkXPress v8.
Users can upgrade from earlier versions and they are available for
both Mac and Windows platforms.

Sonar Bookends Xref is a cross-reference generator for QuarkXPress. A
cross-reference is the insertion of the current page number of an
item, such as a table, chapter, figure, or appendix, into a document
to facilitate the reader finding that item. The page number can
optionally include a chapter reference.

TLA Systems has announced a new release of the PCalc
((http://www.pcalc.com) calculator for the iPhone and iPod touch.
It’s available to download today from the Apple App Store for US$3.99.

The most notable new feature in this release is support for multiple
undo and redo.
