Gabtastik Brings Web Chat to the Mac Desktop
Washington, DC — May 1, 2008 — Mesa Dynamics announced today the release
of Gabtastik, a lightweight OS X desktop client for web chat.
Gabtastik is WebKit based Site Specific Browser (SSB) for web chat services
such as Facebook Chat, Google Talk and meebo. This allows users to keep web
chat sessions running on the desktop outside of their regular web browser,
using minimal screen real estate and system memory.
Gabtastik also allows control of its window display level, window opacity,
and lets users toggle quickly between supported chat services.
Gabtastik is freeware and requires Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or later. Version
0.1 is available immediately for download at http://www.gabtastik.com/
